I updated this vintage pine desk with built in shelf with a custom hand painted design, I chose a retro inspired flower design using olive green, bright orange, sunny yellow and crisp white and black to enhance the vibe of the piece. The top was stained and the entire piece was sealed with polyurethane for durability. For added functionality, I removed the edge detail and boxes from the top of the desk so that chords could hang more easily off the top. The built in shelf makes this an incredibly versatile piece.
